SEJARAH JARINGAN KOMPUTER

Jaringan komputer adalah sebuah kumpulan komputer, printer, dan peralatan lainnya yang terhubung dalam satu kesatuan. Informasi dan data bergerak melalui kabel-kabel atau tanpa kabel sehingga memungkinkan pengguna jaringan komputer saling bertukar dokumen dan data. Sebuah jaringan biasanya terdiri dari 2 atau lebih komputer yang saling berbagi sumber daya misalnya CD ROM, printer, pertukaran file, atau memungkinkan untuk saling berkomunikasi secara elektronik.
Konsep jaringan komputer lahir pada tahun 1940-an di Amerika dari sebuah proyek pengembangan komputer MODEL I di laboratorium Bell dan group riset Harvard University yang dipimpin oleh Profesor H. Aiken. pada mulanya proyek tersebut hanyalah ingin memanfaatkan sebuah perangkat komputer harus dipakai bersama.
Ditahun 1950-an ketika jenis komputer mulai membesar sampai terciptanya super komputer, maka sebuah komputer mesti melayani beberapa terminal. Untuk itu ditemukan konsep distribusi proses berdasarkan waktu yang dikenal dengan TSS (Time Sharing System).
Memasuki tahun 1970-an, setelah beban pekerjaan bertambah banyak dan harga perangkat komputer besar mulai terasa sangat mahal, maka mulailah digunakan konsep proses distribusi (Distributed Processing).
Selanjutnya ketika harga-harga komputer kecil mulai menurun dan konsep proses distribusi sudah matang, maka penggunaan komputer dan jaringannya sudah mulai beragam mulailah berkembang teknologi jaringan lokal yang dikenal dengan sebutan LAN. Demikian pula ketika Internet mulai diperkenalkan, maka sebagian besar LAN yang berdiri sebdiri mulai berhubungan dan terbentuklah jaringan raksasa WAN.

Jenis-jenis Jaringan

1. Local Area Network (LAN)
Sebuah LAN, adalah jaringan yang dibatasi oleh area yang relatif kecil, umumnya dibatasi oleh area lingkungan seperti sebuah perkantoran di sebuah gedung, atau sebuah sekolah, dan biasanya tidak jauh dari sekitar 1 km persegi.
2. Metropolitan Area Network (WAN)
Sebuah MAN, biasanya meliputi area yang lebih besar dari LAN, misalnya antarwilayah dalam satu propinsi.
3. Wide Area Network (WAN)
Jaringan komputer skala luas (WAN) merupakan pengembangan dari MAN dan telah melibatkan lebih dari satu server utama, masing-masing server utama saling terhubung dan setiap komputer yang terhubung ke jaringan akan dapat saling mengakses server tersebut. WAN biasanya mencakup sebuah area yang sangat luas, bahkan antarnegara.
4. Internet
Internet yang berasal dari kata Interconnection Networking yang membpunyai arti hubungan komputer dengan berbagai tipe yang membentuk sistem jaringan yang mencakup seluruh dunia (jaringan komputer global) dengan melalui jalur telekomunikasi seperti telepon, radio link, satelit, dan lainnya.

Model Referensi Jaringan Terbuka OSI atau OSI Reference Model For Open Networking
OSI Reference Model pun akhirnya dilihat sebagai sebuah model ideal dari koneksi yang harus terjadi agar komunikasi data dalam jaringan dapat berlangsung. OSI Reference Model memliki 7 lapis, yakni sebagai berikut :
1. Physical layer, berfungsi untuk mendefinisikan media transmisi jaringan, metode pensinyalan, sinkronisasi, arsitektur jaringan.
2. Data-link layer, berfungsi untuk menentukan bagaimana bit-bit data dikelompokkan menjadi format yang disebut sebagai frame.
3. Network layer, berfungsi untuk mendefinisikan alamat-alamat IP, membuat header untuk paket-paket, dan kemudian melakukan routing melalui internetworking dengan menggunakan router dan switch layer-3.
4. Transport layer, berfungsi untuk memecah data kedalam paket-paket data serta memberikan nomor urut ke paket-paket tersebut sehingga dapat disusun kembali pada sisi tujuan setelah diterima.
5. Session layer, berfungsi untuk mendefinisikan bagaiman koneksi dapat dibuat, dipelihara, atau dihansurkan.
6. Presentation layer, berfungsi untuk mentranslasikan data yang hendak ditransmisikan oleh aplikasi ke dalam format yang dapat ditransmisikan melalui jaringan.
7. Aplication layer, berfungsi sebagai antarmuka dengan aplikasi dengan fungsionalitas jaringan, mengatur bagaimana aplikasi dapat mengakses jaringan, dan kemusian membuat pesan-pesan kesalahan.

My Painter

1 month after that event, I feel lost spirit for step for today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and go on. That event can’t I forgot. Maybe, as long as my life. Need 1 day for like him, need 1 month for love him, but need of the same age for forget him.
“Len, do you want to have a lunch?”, Nara said.
“No, thanks! I will lunch here.”, I said.
“Don’t be sad again. I see you often pile up. Still thinking about him?”, Nara said.

“Come on, Len! It’s already 1 month after he go. He is happy there. Life must be go on.”, Nara said.
“You right! Thank you, Nar!”, I said.
“By the way 1 month later, I’ll go to France.”, Nara said.
“Hah?? 1 month later?”, I said.
“Yes.”, Nara said.
“It’s not felt! You will go there.”, I said.
“Whereas, I still want here. Because of you. Hehe…”, Nara said.
1 month past, it’s time to Nara go to France for continue his study.
“OK! I must go now! Take care.”, Nara said.
“Be careful! Don’t forget give me a news. Good luck!”, I said when at airport.
“I hope I can followed you go there.”, I said.
“I promise, I will show Eiffel in front of you.”, Nara said.
“I’ll wait your promise!”, I said.
“Bye…!”, Nara said.
“Naraaa… I’LL BE MISSING YOU!”, I said.

The change of year holiday is past, I walk my activity like usually. After 4 year past, I be granted from Rome University. Suddenly, my phone is noise.
“Hallo!”, I said.
“Elen, it’s me, Nara!”, Nara said.
“Nara! Hi…”, I said.
“Congratulations! I bring you some flower.”, Nara said.
“Thank you! Some flower? What you mean?”, I said.
“Look at behind you!”, Nara said.
When I look at behind, I see Nara.
“Nara??”, I said.
I approach him and I hug him.
“Nara, how can? You here? I can’t believe it!”, I said.
And then I free my embrace.
“Yes, I miss you! So, I go here. This is flower for you!”, Nara said.
“Thank you!”, I said.
“Have a event again for today?”, Nara said.
“Nothing. Why? We have a lunch together?”, I said.
“Yes.”, Nara said.
“Where?”, I asked.
“Not here.”, Nara said.
“What you mean?”, I asked.
“We lunch at the France.”, Nara said.
“Hah??? France? Are you kidding?”, I said startled.
“No, I’m not kidding. I’m serious!”, Nara said.
I can’t believe it. Nara want to bring me to France.
“Come on! You must prepare.”, Nara said.
We go to France. It’s like a dream. Same like when I arrive for the first time at Italy. I stay at Nara’s home. Now, he is work at one of the hospital there. 2 days past.
“Len…Elen…!”, Nara said while knock my door.
“Yes!”, I answered.
“Wake up!”, he said.
“Yes, I’m already wake up.”, I said while open my door.
When I open my door, I see Nara bring a cake of birthday.
“Happy birthday, Elen!”, he said.
“What is that?’, I asked.
“Today, it’s your birthday.”, he said.
“Oh…I near forgot. Thank you, Nar!”, I said.
“OK, now you can blow this candle.”, he said.
And then I blow that candle.
“Happy birthday, Elen! I hope what your dream come true.”, Nara said.
“Amien..!!!”, I said.
“Tonight, I want we go to one place.”, he said.
“Where?”, I asked.
“That’s secret.”, he said.
“Nara…please tell me.”, I said.
“No, I want make a surprise!”, he said.

When night at 07.00 pm o’clock, we are go to one place. I don’t know where we go. All along in the travel, Nara close my eyes with a cloth.
“OK! Now, we arrive.”, Nara said.
“So, open my eyes, please!”, I said.
“OK! 1…2…3…!”, he said.When Nara open a cloth at my eyes, the first time I saw lights which shine in everywhere. I’m so startled when I saw in front of my eyes there is one of miracles in the world. Yes, it’s EIFFEL

“Nar, it’s Eiffel?”, I asked.
“I present Eiffel especially for you, Helena!”, Nara said.
Really… I can’t believe it. I stand in front of Eiffel. It’s my dream. But now my dream come true.
“Nar, thank you very much!”, I said.
“This is my promise. I promise to show Eiffel in front of your eyes.”, he said.
“Nara…I don’t know what can I say. It’s more from enough for make me happy in my birthday. Très bien, merci ! (Thank you!)”, I said.

I just quiet after hear what Nara said. It’s really…I like to hear that.

What is that? What Nara doing? I’m so startled. It’s like a dream.
“Nar, are you serious?”, I asked.
“OUI!(Yes!)”, Nara said.
I’m so confuse. What can I do?
“Please…answered!”, he said.
He is a kind men. He is can make me happy. But, it’s so quick. Nara bow his face.
“Are you really serious?”, I asked.
“Yes, Len I’m serious!”, he said.
“OUI!(Yes!)”, I said.
“What?”, he asked.
“Yes, I will.”, I said.
“Are you serious?”, he asked.
“Yes, I’m serious. If you serious, I will.”, I said.
“Très bien, merci !(Thank you!)”, he said while hug me so close.
I feel be a women the most happy in the world. Thanks God!

My Painter

“Len, look at! It’s…”, Nara said haltingly.
And then I look at to the people who pointed by Nara. Do you know who is that?
“Hah??? Anthony??? He is Tony?”, I asked startled.
“Yes, he is Anthony.”, Nara said.
I just quiet and continue see him. I can believe it! I see Tony in front of me.
“Nar, it’s dream?”, I asked.
“No. it’s real.”, Nara said.
With slow, I approach to him.
“Anthony? Are you Anthony?”, I asked.
He is just quiet look at me. He look so confuse and look like thinking about something. And then Nara also approach him.
“Tony? Is it you?”, Nara asked.
He is keep quiet and look at me and Nara with close observation.
“Nara?”, he said.
“Anthony? it’s real you are? Oh…my god!”, I said can’t believe.
“Yes, I am Anthony. Are you…Elen?”, he said.
Without thinking twice, I hug him. Oh…God! Thank you! Finally, I find him. I’m straight to hug him. I feel, I don’t want to free my embrace.
“Yes…I am Elen, Helena.”, I said while free my embrace.
Tony can’t say and do anything. And he smile at me.
“Elen, how are you?”, Tony said.
“I’m fine. Thank you! How about you?”, I said.
“Very well. Why you here? What are you doing here?”, he asked.
“I am… I just…”, I said.
“She followed you.”, Nara said.
“Oh…Nara. How are you? Long time no see. ”, Tony said.
“Very well.”, Nara said.
“Followed me? To come here? To Italy?”, Tony asked.
“Yes, she followed you until here.”, Nara said cynical.
“Elen? It’s true?”, Tony asked to me.
“Yes, that’s true. I followed you until here. Why? Can’t believe it?”, I said.

“Why you so cynical to me? Are you angry with me?”, Tony asked to Nara.

And then we sit at the grassy field in that garden. We discuss all about life each of our. included about my feet.

“You look more…beautiful…”, Tony said.
“What??”, I said.
“Don’t be touched!”, Nara said.
“Nara, don’t say like that!”, I said.
“Why? What’s wrong?”, Nara said.
“No, Nara isn’t wrong. He is right! I’m touched you, Helena.”, Tony said.
I’m so startled what Tony say. He is Tony? Nara look more resentful. Suddenly, Nara pull my hand and force me to go from there.
“Come on, Elen! We must go now!”, Nara said.
Nara bring me to leave Tony. He bring me at home. He force me to go.

“I’m sorry, Len!”, Nara said while arrive at my apartment.
“Whats wrong, Nar?”, I asked.
“I don’t like with Tony’s attitude. He is not direct know with you. He almost forget you! Can you aware?”, Nara said.
“Yes, I know! That’s important, he remember me. So, what the problem?”, I said.
“I also can be resentful when he said you look more beautiful. He is look like haven’t sin with you. Whereas, he has been missing. Never give news, never telephone. But, look his face. He is like haven’t a mistake. He is never care with you, Len! Aware, please!”, Nara said.
I’m start to thinking! What Nara say Tony is never care with me, isn’t it? How about my feeling with him? He is never knows.
“Yes, I know. But, you has been broke my happiness for today. We are already to search him. Now, we find him and we let he go! I’m so disappointed with you!”, I said.
“Whatever you say, up to you! But you blind with him. It’s clear he is not care about you, moreover he is forget you. Why you still hope of him? Isn’t useful!”, Nara said.
I more confuse with Nara’s attitude.

The following day, Nara still angry with me. I didn't know what must be done by me so that he is not again angry.
“Nara…please forgive me!”, I said.
Nara just quiet while eat the breakfast.
“Nar, say something!”, I said.
“What?”, Nara said.
“Don’t angry with me again. Forgive me!”, I said.
“I’m so disappointed with you! I don’t like if Tony come here to meet you.”, he said.
“Why?”, I asked.
“Because…I don’t like!”, he said.
“OK…OK!!! I know. But, forgive me OK!”, I said.
“Hmmm…”, Nara said.
“What must must be done by me so that you not again angry with me? Tell me?”, I asked.
“I don’t know!”, he said.
I’m so confuse with him.
“Hmm…how about go to Colosseum? You are not yet go there, isn’t it?”, I said.
“Pisa?”, he asked.
“Yes, Colosseum. This is one of the seven miracles in the world.”, I said.
“Are you serious?!”, he said.
“Of course! Why I must lie.”, I said.
“OK! We go now.”, he said.
I’m happy to hear that. I think Nara is not angry again with me. He look happy. at 12.00 pm o’clock, we go there. Nara so enjoy there.
“Len, it’s very wonderful! I like it!”, Nara said while take the picture of Colosseum.
“Yes, I know. It’s very beautiful. Are you happy, Nara?”, I said.
“Of course! Thank you!”, he said.
“Your welcome! “, I said.
“Can we here until night?”, he asked.
“Night?”, I said.
“Yes, I still here until night. I think at night it’s more beautiful.”, he said.
“Why not?”, I said.
“Thank you, Helena!”, he said.
Until night, we still there. We sat in the available seat there.
“Waw…it’s very beautiful! Look at, Len!”, he said.

When Nara look at the right, he someone who sat in the seat that was not far from our seat sat.

“Len, look at! He is Tony.”, Nara said.
“Where?”, I asked.

When I and Nara walk to approached Tony, someone coming.
“Waw!!! Nar, he was the famous painter. I think, he is Tony’s friend.”, I said.

When we close by Tony, we are so startled. You know why? We see the man kissed the Tony's cheek and they embraced. Our step is stopped.
“Nar…what I see that?”, I asked.
“I don’t know!”, Nara said.
I’m so startled. Is he Tony? I’m just swallowed my spittle.
“They? What they mean? What they are doing?”, I asked.
I can’t say something. My feet feel difficult to step. My body feel so limp. With slow, we approached them. When we so close with them, I hear something. I hear Tony say something with the man. I’m so startled to hear what Tony say. Do you know what Tony say with the man? “Ti Amo”. That’s the sentences what Tony say. Tony whisper to the man while continue embrace him. The sentences have the meaning. “ I LOVE YOU”. That’s the meaning.
“Ti Amo, Tony! (I Love you, Tony!)”, I said drip my tears.
When hear what I say, Tony look at me and free his embrace.
“Elen?”, Tony said.
I can’t say something. I just drip my tears.

I don’t know what I’m doing now! I run to go leave them. I just can cry to see all of that. I want to run…far…far…away!
“Eleeeeen…!!! Wait…!!!”, Nara’s scream.
I stopped run.
“Len, are you OK?”, Nara asked.
I just cry and cry.
“I’m not OK! What happen, Nar? What I see that, it’s true?”, I asked.
“Len, be patient! I know it’s very difficult!”, Nara said.
“Why it’s happen like this? Why? Why, Nara? Why?”, I asked while cry.
“I don’t know, Len! I hate Anthony!!! he is so bad.”, Nara said.
And then I sit where I stay.
“Len, wake up! It’s the road. Don’t sit here!”, Nara said.
I’m direct cry. I can’t stop my tears. And then, Nara sit besides me.
“I’m sorry, Len!”, Nara said.
“About what?”, I asked.

The following day, i feel so afraid. Be afraid to face for today. What will be happened today? I don’t know. Suddenly, the door is knock.
“Nar, can you to open the door, please!”, I said while I cook.
“OK!”, Nara said while open the door.
“Who is that, Nar?”, I asked while I see to look who is that.
When I look, oh…god! He is Anthony.
“Tony??? What are you doing here?”, I said cynical.
“Elen!!!”, Tony said.
“Get out! I don’t want to see you again! Especially here, in my apartment! Go!!!”, I said drip my tear.
“Len…calm down, Len!!!”, Nara said.
“Helena…please listen me! I just wanna clarify about tomorrow. Please!!!”, Tony said.
“What clarify? It’s not need a clarify, you understand!”, I said fed up.
“Len, the incident at tomorrow it’s true. What you see, that’s true! Actually, I like a man. I don’t like a women. You know now!”, Tony said.
I just quiet after hear Tony say that.
“What? That’s…true??”, I asked unbelieveable.
“Yes. That’s very true!”, he said.
“Why you say now? After it’s too late for me to love you.”, I said.
“Because I never know how about your feeling to me.”, he said.
“My feeling?”, I asked.
“Yes, your feel. I don’t know are you love me? Like me? Or hate me?”, he said.
“Ton, once moment at Indonesia I say with you about her feeling to you. I say she is love you.”, Nara said.
“I know! But it’s not enough! That feel come from Helena to me. Not from you to me, Nar”, Tony said.
“What for I say about my feeling? It’s not important with you! Finally, you can’t response my feel. Isn’t it? You don’t love me. You haven’t that feel like what I feel in my heart for you.”, I said.
Tony just quiet and bow his head.
“And…why you never give me a news as long as you in Italy?”, I asked.
“I…I…just…I’m very busy, Len!”, Tony answered.
“How the busy? Until you don’t have a time to give me a news.”, I said.
“OK! I’m sorry about that!”
“Why you do it to me? Why me? It’s so sick, Ton! My heart is so sick!”, I said while cry.
“I’m sorry, Len! I don’t know what can I do now! But, it’s me Anthoy. The painter man who love a man.”, Tony said.
“I know! It’s my mistake. A big mistake. Sorry!!! I never response your feeling.”, Tony said while drip a tear.
I don’t know what I can say again.
“Now, it’s clear! It’s up to you, Len! Are you want to forgive Tony or not.”, Nara said.
“Yes, I’m forgive you, Ton! But…please…after today is happened…consider...I had...not been.”, I said.
“What??? What you mean, Len?!”, Tony asked startled.
I can’t repeat that words. It’s too difficult for me to say that.
“Don’t meet me or call me again. I want to forget all about you! Please…!!!”, I said.
“So, it’s you want?! OK! I understand. If it’s can make you forgive me, I believe and do it. Grazie mille, Helena! Mi dispiace! Arrivederci! (Thank you, Helena! I’m sorry! See you later!)”, Tony said while go leave me and Nara.
Before he go, he kiss my brow. I just can cry. I can’t stop my tears. Maybe this tear, can be dry after he go. Tony is gone!
“Tony…!!! Wait…!!!”, I scream.
Tony stop his step and look at me.
“Can I hug you like the first time I meet you again at the painting exhibition event? It’s for the last time, Anthony.”, I said.
He is just smile. Without say the word, he hug me so close.
“I’ll be miss this embrace, Ton!”, I said while hug him.
“Me too!”, he said.
He is the first man who can make me feel about love. he is make me strong and make me not easy give up. Make me feel how to fight get what we are want. And of course make me feel how the true love. He is my first love. Grazie mille, Anthony!(Thanks, Anthony!) U will always be MY PAINTER!

My Painter

This is my college

“Yes, I know him.”, said my teacher.
“Are you sure?”, I asked.
“Yes, I’m sure. What happen with him?”, she said.
“Did you know where he live?”, I asked.
“Ow…I’m so sorry! I don’t know where he live. After 5 year be granted, he never come here and give a news about him. So, I don’t know where he is now.”, she said.
I’m disappointed with she answer.
“Grazie mille!(Thank you!)”, I said.
I don’t know where I can go to search him. I asked with almost teacher at my college. But one of them didn’t know about him. Must be to around this country? This country it’s so broad. I set a advertisement at the every road in my city. But it’s also not give a responding.

Suddenly, I feel someone stand exact behind me. And then I return my body to see who is it. Who is that? And you know who is that? I see someone who I know. He is Anthony. I saw his face, so distinct. He hug me very close.
“Len, why you just quiet?”, he said.
When I heard his voice, I then regained consciousness. He is not Anthony. He is Nara.
“Nara?”, I asked.
“Yes, it’s me. Nara, Narapraja. A doctor who came from Indonesia to pursue Helena Hehehe…”, he said.
And then he released his embrace.
“Nara? How could you be here?”, I asked surprised.
“I’ll tell all of you about this, later. Can I go into your apartment? I’m so tired.”, he said.
“Of course! Come on!”, I said.
Although the first I feel disappointed he is not Anthony, but I’m happy too. Because Nara is coming.
“Nar, tonight you can sleep at that room. In here have 2 room. I’ll get dinner. Oh ya, can you tell me a little. Why you come here? How about your activity at Indonesia?”, I said.
“I’ll continue my study at France. In fact, my study will begin 2 month again. But, I want drop in Italy. At the same time, I visit you in here. I can meet you. I need a refreshing with my activity.”, he said.

“Well, I want to take a bath. Where the bathroom?”, he asked.

All along night, I and Nara discuss. He tell about condition in Indonesia during 1 year and me too. Tell all about everything during I’m here.
“Len, have a news about Tony?”, Nara asked.
“Not yet.”, I answered while sad.
“Oh…! Don’t be hopeless! I’m sure you can meet Tony.”, he said.
“Grazie mille!(Thank you!)”, I said.
“Waw... you can speak Italy language?”, he said.
“Not yet, just a little.”, I said.

“Why you not try to set a advertisement at television?”, Nara said.
“I think it’s so expensive. I don’t have money for it. I have been to sell my paint and then I fall in my money for it. But it’s not useful.”, I answered.
“Oh…!”, Nara said.
After 4 pm o’clock, Nara farewell with me to go outside.
“Len, I want to go just a minutes. I want to stroll.”, he said.
“OK! Be careful! I just want here. I want to rest.”, I said.
“Ciao!(Bye!)”, he said.
After 8 pm o’clock, Nara is not yet go home.
“Where is Nara? it’s 8 o’clock. Where he is? Maybe he have a business.”, I said.
While I’m wait Nara to go home, and then I watching TV. After a few minutes I watching TV, I’m startled with one of advertisement at TV. That advertisement about searching of Tony. I just quiet to see that. What is that? I feel, I’m not set that advertisement. Who? Nara? Yes, it’s certain Nara do it. After that advertisement finished, Nara is coming and smile at me.
“Nara?, I said.
“Yes. What happen?”, he answered.
“You are?”, I said.
“Are you finished to see that advertisement?”, he asked while sit down beside me.
“You are do it? You set that advertisement?”, I asked.
“Yes, I do.”, he answered.
“Why? I say, you not set it. It’s so expensive, Nara.”, I said.
“Just for you, everything I can do it. Although it’s very expensive.”, he said.
I’m so touched with his words. I can’t believe it. It’s long time, I want to set that advertisement. But, I don’t have money for that. But, Nara make my dream is come true. Thanks Nar. Thank you very much!
“How can I reply what you do for me?”, I asked.
“Len, listen me! I’m do it, it’s not hope everything from you. I’m so sincere. Because of you!”, Nara said.
“Me? What do you mean?”, I asked.
“Yes, because I do it just for you. Not for another.”, Nara said.
I’m so happy hear that. I think Nara’s feel with me it’s same before I go here. He is so honest. His feel so honest. Why I can’t reply his honest feeling?

After 4 day that advertisement show at TV, as long as we are just wait somebody is call for tell about Tony. Suddenly that afternoon somebody is call.
“Ciao!(Hallo!) Buongiorno! (Good afternoon!)Come va? (How are you?)”, that people said.
“Ciao!(Hallo!) Chi è? (Who is that?)”, I answered.
Suddenly, that people just quiet.
“Ciao!(Hallo!)”, I said.
“Who is that, Len?”, Nara asked.
“I don’t know.”, I said.
“Close the telephone! It just sneaky people.”, Nara said.
“No! maybe it’s Tony.”, I said while continue hear that people.
“Ciao! Ciao! Ciao!(Hallo! Hallo! Hallo)”, I said.
“Questa è Helena? (Are you Helena?)”, he asked.
“Questa è Helena. Chi è? ( This Helena. Who you are?)”, I said.
“io…(I am…)”, he said.
This voice? This voice like…Tony.
“Tony? Is it you?”, I asked.
He not answered.
“Nar, he is Tony. I’m sure.”, I said.
“Hah…are you sure?”, Nara said.
And then Nara seized the telephone by me.
“Hallo! are you Tony?”, Nara said while little scream.
That people just be quiet and close the telephone. I can’t do something. I jut can cry to see all of that.
“I’m sure, he is Tony. I still remember his voice. Although it’s long time I’m not meet him and hear his voice, but nobody have voice like him. Even he is his cousin.”, I said.
“I’m please forgive me! I should be not set this advertisement. It’s exact make you cry. Don’t be sad please!”, Nara said.
“It’s OK! Maybe that way it’s must like this.”, I said.
“Len, don’t give up! You can do it!”, Nara said.
I still cry. Why must be like this? God…Why you not give me permission to see his face, just once more time. I miss him!
“Len, why not try to call that number?”, Nara said.
However, after that number call, it’s not connected.
“Stop that! It’s useless. We are must stop that advertisement.”, I said.
“OK!”, Nara said.

1 month past, but I’m not find Tony.
“Nar, what can we do to find Tony? I’m finished way.”, I said.
“Me too. I don’t know how can.”, Nara said while gulp a cup of coffee at the cafe together me.
After some minutes, I meet my friend at my college.
“Ciao Helena!(Hallo Helena!)”, my friend said.
“Ciao Martha! Come va?(Hallo Martha! How are you?).”, I said.
“I’m find thank you. By the way, you know the day after tomorrow will be the event?”, she said.
“Event? What event?”, I asked.
She tell me about the painting exhibition event at my college.
“I have 2 ticket for you. Do you want?”, she said.
“Of course. Thank you!”, I said.
“This is the ticket. See you later. Ciao!(Bye!)”, she said.

“Nar, we can go there together. Can you?”, I said.

After 2 day past, me and Nara go to the painting exhibition event. After arrived there, we can meet a famous painter and we can look the good painting from every country.
“Nar, that is my painting. Look that!”, I said.
“Where? Oh…that.”, Nara said.
“How? Is it good?”, I asked.
“Very well. Your painting it’s very good. I like it.”, Nara said.
“Grazie mille!(Thank you!)”, I said.
“Nar, look at. oh…he is so handsome.”, I said while pointed one of people beside me.
“Why? He is strange!”, Nara said.
“What? Strange? He is one of famous painter in this country.”, I said.
“Oh…!”, Nara said.
When we are look around the painting, suddenly Nara hold my hand so close. I’m so startled.
“Nar, what happen with you?”, I asked.
I see Nara’s face is so tense.
“Nar, are you OK?”, I asked.
“Nar…Narapraja… Can you hear me?”, I asked.
“Len, look at! It’s…”, Nara said haltingly.
And then I look at to the people who pointed by Nara. Do you know who is that?

My painter

3 month past, this show time to go Italy.
“Nar, the day after tomorrow I will go to Italy. I think you know about that!”, I said at the telephone.
“Yes, I know! So, why?”, he said.
“Can you accompany me?”, I said.
“Of course! I will to accompany to the airport.",he said.
“OK! Thank you!”, I said.
“By the way, there was time tonight ?”, he asked.
“Yes, I am. What happen?”, I said.
“I want speak with you. Face to face. It’s so important! So, tonight at 7 o’clock we meet at the garden near your home. Ok! See you!”, he said while closed the telephone.
“Hallo…hallo…”, I said.
I’m so confuse, he closed the telephone without say greetings.
After 7 o’clock, I meet Nara at the garden in block B.
“Nar, what the important?”, I asked while angered.
Nara look faint and I don’t know what happen with him.
“Nar, are you OK?”, I asked.
“Yes, I think so. Why?”, he answered.
“Are you sick?”, I asked.
“No, I’m OK!”, he answered.
“Oh…So, what do you want to speak?”, I asked.
“Actually…I’m so hard to let you go. Exactly, I don’t want you go. I’m so sad if you go there.”, he said.
I’m so confuse with him. What he mean?
“Nar, what happen with you?”, I asked.
“I’m so sorry I say like that. It’s not the case that I’m not happy about your victory, but I can’t lie my feeling. It’s really so hard, Elen. “he said.
“Feeling? What feeling, Nar?”, I asked with soft voice.
Nara just quite and bowed this head
“I…like…you…!!! I love you Helena!”, he said haltingly.
I’m so startled hear what he say. My body feel faint, can’t to move. He is Nara? I can’t believe it. I can’t believe he say like that.
He gazed at me with observation that was same with Tony. Really similar with Tony.
“Nar, why he say it? What happen with you? I’m so confuse with you. What do you want?”, I said.
“Len, I’m sorry! But that’s my feel. Really my feeling only with you and just for you.”, he answer.
“Yes, I know. Thank you1 but, why you say it now? The after tomorrow, I will go. I know you know. Why not from 3 month ago you say it before I go.”, I said.
“I know, it’s my mistake. Sorry! But, last night I can’t sleep. Thinking about your trip.
My chest was felt crowded. As there are those that forced me to say it.but, if you know, this feeling has been since long before today happen.”, he said.
“Yes, I understand. I’m sorry! But Nar, I will go to pursued my dream to meet Tony. You know that. Only him, who I want to meet. I miss him!”, I said while dropped my tear.
He grasp my hand with close.
“I’m sorry. I make you cry. This was indeed egoistic, but please…don’t go! I really can’t to see if you go. Please…!!! Forget Tony. He never care with you. He has been lost!”, he said.
I released my hands from his grasp and I go to leave him.
Oh…good! Why you give all of this to me. Give me the way to complete all this.

The following day, I made preparations to go for tomorrow. My money from my painting sales revenue, I think it’s enough for go to Italy. But, that day Nara can’t be contacted. Where he is? Tomorrow I will go. I try to contact him, but could not. Resulting from the incident last night? Until night, he still could not be contacted. So, I Left the voice mail at the telephone that his contents :
“Nar, where are you? Why it’s so hard to cantacted you? But, it’s OK! Maybe you still angry with me about the incident at last night. I just want to say that tomorrow I must to go to Italy. I think you didn’t need to accompany me to the airport. we can telephone, send message, or send E-mail. Don’t be sad Ok! You must good here. Bye-bye Nara. I’ll be missing you. “

The following day, it’s time to go. When I arrived at the airport, I hope Nara come here. But, I think he didn’t come. Suddenly, I feel someone stand in front of me. I promoted my head to see who is that. And you know who is that? Yes, is that Nara. i’m so startled see him. I can’t believe he will come. Without speaking about a word then he is hug me. I’m so confuse with him.
“Len, forgive me! I just came.”, he said while still hug me.
“I think I never to see you.”, I said.
He released his embrace.
“Len, you must go now!”, my aunt says. She accompany me to airport.
“Yes, I know. Well, I must go now! Don’t be sad.”, I said with Nara.
“I’m okay! Be careful!”, he said.
“Thank you! Take care. Goodbye all of them.”, I said while sad.
“Len…”, Shouted Nara.
“Yes??”, I said.
“I’LL BE MISSING YOU!!!”, he said.
I just smiled at him. I’ll be missing his voice, his face, and all of him.

When I arrived at the Italy, I still can’t believe. I will come here. Oh…good, thank you very much! You grated my prayer. And then I go to the place that will be lived in by me during there. And the following day I began my study. I enjoy my study at the Rome University. I feel so happy there. But, I must to continued to have to search Tony. But, where I will search him? I don’t know where he is.
“Scusi!(Excuse me!). Buongionol!(Good morning!)”, I said with one of teacher there.
“Helena, what happen?”, the teacher said.
“I want to ask with you about someone.”, I said.

My Painter

1 month past. But I still can't forget the separation with Tony. Nara is often come to my home to accompany me. Exactly, that's make me more miss him and more to thinking Tony.
"Len, would you like to go to the garden? It's long time we n didn't go there. I think you always stay in home. Are ypou nor bored?", Nara said.
"Thank's Nar! You always stay here with me to accompany me although just stay at home. But I was lazy outside the house. If you feel bored, you can go home. I'm OK!", I answer.
"Please, don't say like that! I never feel bored, because you were the message from Tony.", Nara answer.
"Thank you very much!", I said.
The following day, I begin to think. Whether I only was just quiet look this fact? I must change that.
"Must I follow him? But, how can? To walking I had difficulty above all to follow him to Italy. But, I'm sure it's be the way. I'm sure!!!," I said.

The following day, I meet Nara.
"Nar, I know how to meet Tony.",Said I was happy.
"Meet Tony? Ypu look so happy. So, how can?", Nara said.
"I'll follow him to Italy.", I said.
"Follow him? That's impossible! Italy is far away. mkoreover you don't know where he live. He never give the news.", Nara said.
I just quiet and try to think again.
"Hmm... I'll be a painter. And I follow the same contest like Tony.", I said.
"Oh...my god! She like that the spirit to meet Tony. If I became Tony, I'll be happy and so lucky. She is beautiful, kind, the cheerful person, and not easy give up.", Nara said slowly.
"How about my idea? That's great?", I asked
"Oh...yes. That's good idea I think.", Nara said.
"But, how you can be a painter? You are not a...", Nara said was cut off ny me.
"Oh...I know. You know where the course depicted place?", I asked.
"Yes. Tony have the place of course depicted. Why?". Nara said.
"I'll follow that course. Accompany me to go there, tomorrow. Can you?", I said.
"Ok! Tomorrow we go there.", Nara said.
I feel so happy to hear that. It mean I have the opportunity to meet Tony.

Tomorrow is come, I feel so happy to faced that day. Well, I go to the course depicted with Nara. And the following day, I follow that course.
"Len, you had the talent to become the painter . ", Said the one of teacher there who taught me.
I'm so happy to hear that!
"Horeeee...!!!! I willl be a painter!!! Italyyyy...I'm comiiiiing...!!!", I said was Shouted
"She is stupid!", said one of student there.
All laughed at me. Since followed that course, I spent my time just for painting.

5 year past, I'm already to controlled all about paint. In fact, I have a talent which as long as. And I follow the same contest which Tony followed. Nara always help me to everything I need. And you know? Who 5 the winner? I am!!!!! I'm the one of people who be the winner. Thank's god! Alhamdulillah...!!!You granted my prayer. Thank's Nara! You always help me and accompany me.
"Len, congratulation with you! I'm happy to hear that!", Nara said.
"Thak's Nar. Without you, I'm not anything. Thank's for your help.", I said was happy.
"Don't say like that. I'm happy to help you. You have been regarded like my sister.", Nara said.
"Thank you so much!", I said.
Nara make me touched. I feel so happy to meet someone like him.
"Where you go to Italy?", Nara asked.
"3 month more. Why?", I answer.
"Oh...It's for a moment. Are you ready for that?", Nara said.
"Insya ALLAH, I'm ready. But, I have a plan to operated my foot.", I said.
"Hah??? Are you serious?",Nara said.
"Yes, I am. Why?", I said.
"Yes, I think that's good idea.", Nara said.
"I'll sale all of my painting and I will use the money from seal that to cost of operated.", I said.
"Elen??? Why you are so spirit? I feel so touched. You can use my money.", Nara said.
"No, thank's! You has been help me to much and I don't want to make you busy again. I want to use my work.", I said.
"OK! That's up to you! But if you need my help, I'll always be there with you.", Nara said.
Nara meke me so touched. Oh...god! Please blesshim!

As long as 3 month, I sale my painting. And Alhamdulillah...that's enough for the cost my operated. My operating will take place. Nara be a doctor. He is one of doctor who operated on me.
"Are you ready Elen?", Nara said before come in to the operating room.
"Yes, I am. Please...cured my foot. I need your help.", I said.
"I'll tried as best I can. Don't forget to prayer.", Nara said.
"Thank you!", I said.
Well, my operated is ready to begin. It's need a long time. It's need a 4 hour.
"Len, how your feel now?", Nara said after I regained consciousness from my operated.
"Nara? Aren't you?", I said.
"Yes, It's me Nara.", Nara said.
"I feel good. How about my foot condition?", I asked.
"That operated ran smoothly. You don't worry. Tomorrow, you can use your foot. Congratulation!", Nara said.
"Thank you very much!", I said.
Nara hug on me and I'm just crying. Once more...Thank's god! Thank's Nara!
